Stair Remodels and Replacement in Bellevue and Renton, WA
Replace an outdated staircase with a custom design that suits your home today. West Coast Stair Co. evaluates your existing space and builds a new stair, railing or both.
Update the stair with a plan
The staircase is one of the first things guests see, and an outdated one can hold back an otherwise updated home. For remodels, we start by evaluating the existing space, your photos and your design goals, so the new stair fits the structure and the style you want.
What we can do
- Replace an existing staircase with a new custom design
- Update railings, handrails and banisters
- Change the style of a stair, from traditional to modern or the reverse
- Work from your photos, measurements and design goals

How do you plan a stair remodel?
We start with a consultation, then evaluate the existing space, review photos and design goals, select materials such as wood species and handrail profiles, and prepare a detailed estimate and timeline.
Do you work on both remodels and new construction?
Yes. For remodels we evaluate the existing space, and for new builds we can review architectural drawings or CAD plans to understand structural requirements.
Can you change the style of my existing staircase?
Yes. We have replaced traditional stairs with modern designs, and every project is designed around the home and your goals. Your consultation is the place to start.
